Abstract

Researchers at Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine have conducted a study on the effects of H2Valdien derivatives on hepatoma carcinoma cells. The study found that these derivatives can inhibit the proliferation, migration, and induce apoptosis in hepatoma carcinoma cells. They also demonstrated the ability to reduce migration and invasion and impact the expression of proteins associated with epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). The derivatives achieved these effects by inhibiting the Hedgehog signaling pathway. This research provides valuable insights for potential therapeutic interventions in hepatoma carcinoma.
