Abstract

A clinical trial, NCT06474611, has been launched to evaluate the impact of sending electronic reminder messages to patients who qualify for lung cancer screening. The trial aims to determine if these reminders increase engagement in screening among eligible patients who have not previously been screened and have an upcoming appointment with their doctor. The trial is being conducted by Kaiser Permanente and is part of their efforts to expand lung cancer screening participation.
