Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers from the School of Clinical Medicine has focused on olfactory neuroblastoma, a rare type of cancer. Sinonasal malignant tumors, including olfactory neuroblastoma, are uncommon and account for less than 1% of all tumors. The lack of consensus on the management of these tumors is due to their rarity, diagnostic challenges, and the heterogeneity of treatments. The researchers presented a case report on the use of endoscopy-assisted medial canthus incision combined with radiotherapy as a treatment for sinonasal malignant tumors, aiming to provide valuable insights to clinicians.
