Abstract
- Alfie Bowen, an artist and activist with autism spectrum disorder, shares his experience with horses and how they have helped him through difficult times. As a child, he found solace in riding ponies and spending time with them. Later, during a challenging period in high school, he found solace and confidence through placements with horses and other animals. This led him to pursue photography, and he recently completed a two-year project photographing horses for his second book, "Wild Horses." Bowen believes that horses teach us about love, protection, and loyalty, and that nature has become his greatest healer. [Extracted from the article]
