Abstract
- The use of AI-supported tools in (higher) education is currently characterized by many controversies in the public discourse. The current article presents a possible perspective on how to proceed with and about AI-supported tools, in particular ChatGPT, in (higher) education. Referring to the Frankfurt Dreieck, a holistic view on large language models is taken and the areas influenced by the AI tool are presented in more detail. Overall, the article concludes with a plea for the purposed, critical and self-determined use of these tools in (higher) education and presents possible ways of its implementation.
