Equatorial Energia, a Brazilian energy company, has requested two loans totaling up to $250 million from the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The first loan will be used to finance improvements and capacity expansion for Equatorial's Alagoas subsidiary, while the second loan will provide capital for a distribution subsidiary.
