Abstract
- A simulated satellite communication system was constructed by introducing a phased array antenna based on liquid crystal (LC) technology to achieve communication with the transmitting antennas at various alignment angles. The 16 × 16 phased array antenna serves as the receiving antenna and employs tunable microwave LC material as the reconfigurable component to achieve 360° phase shift. The algorithm for controlling the wave is integrated into the FPGA to drive the antenna array and achieve the target beam deflection to maintain communication. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
