Abstract
- This article discusses a new metal oxide thin-film transistor (TFT) integrated gate driver for micro light-emitting diode (LED) displays. The proposed circuit eliminates the need for external integrated circuits by using a discharged-sweep-signal-generated (DSSG) module to produce sweep signals internally. The gate driver can generate all the necessary signals for driving the pixel array, simplifying the LED display framework. The article also presents an analog pulse-width-modulation (PWM) pixel circuit to demonstrate the feasibility of the gate driver. Experimental results show that the proposed gate driver successfully outputs integrated signals, including a linear sweep signal for the pixel array. [Extracted from the article]
