Abstract
- A study conducted at Goethe-University Frankfurt in Germany analyzed the levels of socially undesirable personality traits (Dark Triad) and implicit motives of achievement, affiliation, and power among medical students. The study included 380 first-year students and 217 third-year students who completed questionnaires assessing these traits. The results showed that there were no significant differences in Dark Triad traits between the two groups of students, except for psychopathy. Male students scored higher in Dark Triad traits than female students. The study concluded that these traits already exist before medical studies and should not be used as criteria for admission selection. [Extracted from the article]
