Abstract
- A recent report from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China, discusses a study on the transcriptional landscape of lacrimal gland cell populations in a mouse model of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). The researchers used single-cell RNA sequencing and bioinformatic analysis to identify 23 cell populations belonging to 11 cell types. They found that certain cell populations, such as acinar cells and myoepithelial cells, were decreased in GVHD lacrimal glands, while T cells and macrophages were expanded. The study provides new insights into the development of ocular GVHD. [Extracted from the article]
