Abstract
- Hassana Investment Company has acquired a 30% stake in Rabigh Arabian Water & Electricity Company (RAWEC), an independent water, steam, and power plant in Saudi Arabia. The investment company purchased the stake from ACWA Power for SAR 844 million ($255m), establishing a long-term relationship between the two firms. The plant, owned and operated by a joint venture including ACWA Power, Hassana Investment Company, JGC Corporation, and Petro Rabigh, has a total installed capacity of 840MW of power generation, 6,110 tonnes per hour of steam, and 12,000 tonnes per hour of water.
