Abstract

Madrid-based solar panel installer Samara has successfully closed a €9 million ($9.7m) Series A financing round with six investors, including Green Generation Fund, Move Energy, Ring Capital, and Athletico Ventures. Existing shareholders Pelion Venture Partners and Seaya have also provided additional capital. Samara, founded in June 2022, aims to drive Spain's energy transition by financing and installing solar panels, batteries, and electric vehicle chargers, as well as offering digital tools for managing energy use. The company has already supported over 1,700 households and plans to use the funding to expand nationally and develop its technology and energy services transition platform.
