Uniper, WAP partner for onshore wind, Poland.

Uniper, a German company, has partnered with Polish company WAP Energia to develop an onshore wind portfolio in Poland. The partnership includes six early-stage projects in western Poland with a total capacity of approximately 600MW. Uniper aims to own a 1GW project portfolio in Poland in the medium-to-long-term and develop 10GW of solar and wind projects in its core markets by 2030. The company plans to invest €8 billion ($8.6bn) in growth and transformation by 2030, including the conversion of power plants and investment in flexible and secure power generation assets.
