ROSESBURG PROVIDES DILLARD UPDATES.

Roseburg Forest Products is providing updates on its $700 million investment in manufacturing operations in southern Oregon. Construction is underway for two new plants in Dillard, Oregon. The first plant, Dillard Components, will convert medium density fiberboard (MDF) panels into a finished exterior trim product. The second plant, Dillard MDF, will manufacture standard MDF panels and thin high density fiberboard (THDF) using wood residuals from local mills. Once operational, the two plants will employ 120 people. Roseburg Forest Products also plans to make improvements at existing plants in Oregon. In a separate development, Collins Pine Co. has filed a lawsuit against Pacific Gas and Electric utility seeking compensation for losses caused by the Dixie Fire in July 2021.
