Abstract

The article discusses a newly launched clinical trial, NCT06448936, which aims to evaluate the impact of surgical treatment on the quality of life of patients with difficult-to-treat basal cell carcinoma of the face. The trial will use patient-reported outcomes to assess the improvement in quality of life after surgery and identify the variables that have the greatest impact on patients' quality of life. Participants will complete questionnaires about their quality of life and the impact of the disease on their lives. The trial is not yet recruiting and is expected to be completed by September 2025.
