Abstract
- A study conducted by the H Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering explores the pricing of vaccines within a group purchasing organization. The researchers developed a mixed integer programming model to determine the prices of vaccines for a group of buyers based on their ability and willingness to pay. The study found that tiered pricing, which takes into account disparities in ability and willingness to pay, can be an effective pricing strategy.
