Abstract

This article discusses a case report of a 16-year-old girl with schizencephaly and psychosis, which is a rare congenital malformation of the central nervous system. Schizencephaly affects the development of the cerebral cortex and is characterized by a gray matter-lined cleft filled with cerebrospinal fluid. The research highlights the scarcity of scientific literature on the association between schizencephaly and psychosis. The article provides contact information for further inquiries and is published in the Journal of Indian Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health. [Extracted from the article]
