Abstract

A recently launched clinical trial, NCT06454058, aims to investigate the association between advanced maternal age and the grading of euploid embryos. Advanced maternal age is known to be linked to a decrease in live birth rates after assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycles, primarily due to a lower number of oocytes, developing embryos, and euploid embryos available for transfer. The trial will be a retrospective cross-sectional study of euploid embryos from patients who have undergone in vitro fertilization (IVF) with preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) at a fertility clinic in The Prelude Network. The study will compare embryo grades between different age groups, controlling for baseline demographic characteristics. [Extracted from the article]
