Abstract
- A study conducted by researchers at the University of Crete School of Medicine in Greece examined the effects of different types of instructors on the retention of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) knowledge and skills in secondary school students. The study found that the type of instructor did not significantly impact the students' CPR knowledge and skill retention after 6 months of training. The researchers suggested that peer students could be an effective alternative to healthcare professionals and schoolteachers as instructors for CPR training, although further studies are needed. This research provides valuable insights into the potential of mass school training programs for disseminating CPR training in the community. [Extracted from the article]
