- Malin Svensson, a fitness trainer who has worked with clients over 50 for 35 years, believes that midlife is the perfect time to start exercising. She emphasizes that movement starts with mindset and challenges the belief that life goes downhill after 50. Svensson encourages incorporating strength training to maintain muscle mass and stamina as women age. Numerous studies show that exercise can improve health, mood, and longevity. Svensson created Nordic Body, a fitness club for those over 50, to empower and motivate people to exercise regardless of their age or fitness level.
