In this paper, I examined the Romanian institutions and their networking in Szeklerland, while I also looked at how this institutional system is represented in the Romanian media from Szeklerland. I was curious to see if there was a connection between the image developed and distributed by the Romanian language media and the everyday reality of Romanians living in that region, taking into consideration the fact that the representation of Szeklerland in the media and the reality of people living there do not always overlap.
