Abstract

The change in the surface morphology of polyketone, polypyromeltitimide, polyethylene naphthalate, and polyethylene terephthalate films under the influence of a direct current discharge has been studied. A significant increase in the roughness has been shown, which is more characteristic of films modified at the cathode. The adhesion properties (peel resistance) have been assessed using the T-test method according to ASTM1876-2001 with polyurethane glue. A significant increase in adhesion for the modified samples has been shown. The contribution of changes in surface morphology to the manifestation of this effect is discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
