Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at Salman Farsi University of Kazerun explores drug release from a two-layer stent coating, taking into account the viscoelastic property of the arterial wall. The study aims to improve the design of stents used in the treatment of atherosclerosis by considering the mechanical properties of the arterial wall tissue. The researchers analyze the stability behavior of the model and provide numerical results.
