Abstract

A recent study conducted in Shanghai, China, investigated the distribution of Mycobacterium in aerosol samples collected from metro environments. The study found that a total of 90 species of Mycobacterium were detected, with Mycobacterium tuberculosis being the most prevalent. The distribution of Mycobacterium was found to be related to factors such as season, temperature, and concentrations of CO2 and particulate matter. The researchers recommended implementing measures to control these factors in order to minimize the risk of Mycobacterium contamination in metro systems. [Extracted from the article]
