Abstract
- The iron content of finger nails has been measured in 100 normal subjects and an age variation demonstrated. The significance of this is uncertain. In 35 iron-deficient subjects, the content tended to be slightly reduced. This may be secondary to an intracellular iron deficiency in the epidermis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
