Abstract
- This article, published in the Chemistry of Natural Compounds journal, explores the chemical composition of the roots of Cynanchum atratum, a plant used in traditional Chinese medicine. The study identifies sixteen compounds in the plant, including steroidal saponins, acetophenones, alkaloids, and volatile oils. The researchers used NMR data and ESI-MS to determine the structures of these compounds. The article provides detailed information about the chemical constituents of Cynanchum atratum and their potential medicinal properties. The research was supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Guizhou Science and Technology Innovation Talent Team. [Extracted from the article]
