Abstract
- A study conducted by Alexandria University compared the effectiveness and efficiency of high-speed air-turbine and electric handpieces in cleaning up resin after orthodontic bracket debonding. The researchers found that while electric handpieces resulted in higher enamel surface roughness and longer cleanup time, they did not offer greater effectiveness or efficiency compared to air-turbine handpieces. This study provides valuable insights for dental professionals considering the use of electric handpieces in their practice.
