Abstract
- A scoping review conducted by researchers at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) examined the efficacy of telerehabilitation by videoconferencing for balance and gait in people with Parkinson's disease (PD). The review included 14 studies that investigated the effects of telerehabilitation on balance and gait measures using videoconferencing. The researchers found that telerehabilitation programs were feasible and safe for people with PD, but more robust clinical trials are needed to determine their efficacy. The study also highlighted the lack of studies using wearable technology in telerehabilitation. [Extracted from the article]
