Abstract

A recent report from Shanghai Pudong New Area People's Hospital in China discusses the development of smart nanoliposomes for precise and rapid hemostasis application. These nanoliposomes, called TNL, are loaded with thrombin and are designed to efficiently control bleeding in emergency medical scenarios. The TNL structure collapses under ultrasonic activation, releasing thrombin and achieving local hemostasis. The research confirms that TNL is biocompatible and biodegradable, making it a promising avenue for efficient and precise hemostasis. [Extracted from the article]
