Il «fallimento climatico» e le sue ragioni.

As is evident from numerous documents, including official ones, the temperature rise containment targets set in different international meeting and at different levels are not and will not be achieved without a radical change in the near future. The aim of this article is to identify the reasons for this failure, starting with the verification of the thesis that the problem lies in the limited democratic consensus for climate change policies. This thesis, which has weak foundations, is countered by the more solid thesis of the strength of interests and the power -- the extent of which is documented -- of Big Oil, the large fossil energy corporations.
