Abstract
- The Game.com was a handheld gaming console released by Tiger Electronics in 1997. It aimed to fill the gap left by the discontinuation of Sega's Game Gear and the aging Game Boy by offering a touchscreen and internet connectivity. However, the console's cheap LCD display and poor adaptations of popular games led to its failure in the market. One standout game for the Game.com was Wheel of Fortune, which capitalized on the console's strengths and was relatively affordable. The Game.com was ultimately discontinued in 2000.
