Abstract
- The article discusses the release of a commemorative £2 coin by the British Royal Mint to mark the bicentenary of the National Gallery in London. The National Gallery, founded in 1824, houses a collection of 2,300 paintings in the Western European tradition. The coin, designed by Edwina Ellis, features the exterior of the National Gallery building on the reverse and King Charles III's effigy on the obverse. It is available in various editions and can be purchased on the Royal Mint's website. [Extracted from the article]
