Abstract
- A federal judge in Florida has rejected prosecutors' request to impose a gag order on former President Donald Trump in his classified documents case. The request was made after Trump made baseless claims that President Biden had authorized the FBI to kill him during a search of his Mar-a-Lago property. The judge, Aileen Cannon, stated that the prosecutors had not properly informed Trump's lawyers about the request and called their communication "lacking in substance and professional courtesy." However, the prosecutors have the option to seek a gag order again if they give Trump's team sufficient time to respond. It is worth noting that a gag order was previously imposed on Trump in his New York hush money case. [Extracted from the article]
