Abstract
- A 27-year-old man with schizophrenia exhibited a lack of efficacy during treatment with multiple drugs, including risperidone, quetiapine, olanzapine, haloperidol, and amisulpride. He was hospitalized due to significant behavioral and cognitive disorganization. Despite receiving these medications, there was no improvement in his condition, suggesting that his schizophrenia was refractory to these drugs. He later received treatment with clozapine and aripiprazole, which resulted in improvement and allowed him to resume his studies. [Extracted from the article]
