A Note from the Editors.

This article provides an overview of the topics discussed in the September 2005 issue of the journal "Review of Agricultural Economics." The issue contains several applied conference papers that address real-world issues and problems. These include the economics of farm worker matters, foreign investment, food security, animal diseases, and invasive species. The issue also contains three refereed articles that deal with dairy manure storage, biotechnology science policy in Canada, and the impact of the ongoing World Trade Organization negotiations on developing countries.
