Abstract

This article, titled "Cover Feature: Wireless Light-Emitting Electrode Arrays for the Evaluation of Electrocatalytic Activity," discusses a new method for visualizing the catalytic activity of electrode materials using light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The system, integrated into a bipolar electrochemical set-up, allows for the evaluation of the efficiency of anodic and cathodic catalysts for water splitting in a single image. This optical readout of catalytic information is complementary to traditional electrochemical techniques. The article provides more information on this research, conducted by A. Kuhn, G. Salinas, and their colleagues. [Extracted from the article]
