Abstract

Google Pay has introduced a new feature that allows users to see the credit card rewards they can earn when making online purchases. This feature is currently available to U.S. customers using an American Express or Capital One card on Google's Chrome web browser on desktop computers. Users will be able to view the card benefits during checkout and choose which card to pay with based on the rewards they would receive. Google plans to expand this program to include all card issuers in the future. Additionally, Google Pay is expanding its buy now, pay later partnerships and introducing biometric authentication for digital payments. The company is retiring the Google Pay mobile app next month in favor of a focus on convenience and security. [Extracted from the article]
