Abstract

Two men have been arrested and ordered to be held in preventive detention in Chile for allegedly starting a forest fire that resulted in the deaths of over 100 people. One of the suspects is a former worker at the national forestry agency, while the other is a firefighter. The court stated that there was evidence of direct and eventual intention in causing the fire and resulting deaths.
