Abstract

A recent research study conducted at Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science in Tainan, Taiwan, has explored a new method for detecting kidney failure using a zinc-doped nanocone and the creatinine biomarker. The study utilized density functional theory calculations to optimize the creatinine adsorbate and the ZnCone adsorbent. The research found that the Zn-doped atom effectively interacted with the creatinine biomarker, allowing for successful detection of kidney failure. This study has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into the potential of this detection platform. [Extracted from the article]
