Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at Ocean University of China explores the impact of marine ranch construction on fishery eco-efficiency in China. The study utilizes panel data from 2010-2021 and employs various models to analyze the effects of marine ranch construction on input efficiency, pollutant outputs, and overall fishery eco-efficiency. The findings suggest that marine ranch construction in China has improved fishery eco-efficiency by enhancing input efficiency and reducing pollutant outputs. The study also proposes policy recommendations to further enhance fishery eco-efficiency in conjunction with marine ranch construction. [Extracted from the article]
