Abstract

This document provides a summary of a study that examined the relationship between balance and various factors in patients with adhesive capsulitis (AC), also known as frozen shoulder. The study used questionnaires and tests to assess pain levels, functional capacity, depression levels, and upper extremity function in the participants. The results showed that balance was negatively affected by increases in pain and depression levels. Additionally, resting pain intensity and functional capacity were found to be predictors of balance. The study suggests that these factors should be considered when developing evaluation and rehabilitation programs for individuals with AC. [Extracted from the article]
