TIPĂRITURI BĂLGRĂDENE DIN SECOLUL AL XVII-LEA ÎN BIBLIOTECA ACADEMIEI DE ȘTIINȚE A UNGARIEI (BUDAPESTA).

In the collections of the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest, there are a number of old Romanian books printed in different centres: Alba Iulia, Blaj, Sibiu, Cluj, Buda, Vienna, Frankfurt, Leipzig and Hamburg. Among these, four volumes published in the seventeenth century have been identified, all printed in Bălgrad (Alba Iulia). We have in mind titles such as the Noul Testament (1648), Psaltirea (1651) and the Molitvenic (Molităvnic) (Euchologion) (1689), printed in the workshop sponsored by the princes of Transylvania (typis principis) and the workshop sponsored by the Orthodox Metropolitanate. The consulted works are also notable for the presence of handwritten notes written by former owners, which provide historical, economic and cultural information. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
