This study aims to obtain as much information as possible about amateur and recreational hunters in the city of Reghin in the early twentieth century, based on the descriptions and memories of an eyewitness, G. F. Kinn. It also presents a psychological analysis of the people described in the cited sources. A question tackled by this contribution is what the objectives of the Reghin hunt would have been, because hunger and thirst could be easily satisfied at the beginning of the twentieth century, when there was meat in abundance. In addition, the article offers a psychological analysis of the family tragedy caused by hunter Oskar Kosch, which shook the city of Reghin in 1932. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
