INFLUENCE OF 2% CHLORHEXIDINE DIGLUCONATE PRETREATMENT ON MARGINAL ADAPTATION OF CONVENTIONAL GLASS-IONOMER CEMENT TO DENTIN.

This article examines the effects of pretreating dentin with a 2% chlorhexidine solution and subjecting it to cariogenic attack on the marginal adaptation of glass ionomer cement (GIC) to dentin walls. The study found that pretreatment with chlorhexidine did not significantly affect the marginal adaptation of GIC to dentin, but cariogenic attack did have a negative impact on the interface between the material and dentin.
