Abstract

NIS One-Click-Backup is a simple app that allows users to back up folders to external locations with just one click. It lists default folders under the user's home directory, such as Documents and Downloads, and users can select which folders they want to back up. The app requires users to choose a remote location for the backups, which must be mounted and accessible through the file manager. The app creates a date-stamped folder at the destination and copies the selected folders into it. It does not offer compression, incremental or differential backups, and does not have a restore option. The app is designed to make the backup process easier for users who find it cumbersome.
