Abstract

The dual-ligand strategy was employed to synthesize a new microporous material, [Zn<subscript>3</subscript>(SNDC)(AmTAZ)<subscript>3</subscript>(H<subscript>2</subscript>O)]·H<subscript>2</subscript>O·CH<subscript>3</subscript>CN (1), incorporating sulfonic acid and amino groups for enhancing gas adsorption and separation. The activated 1 (named 1a) exhibited selective adsorption of acetylene over carbon dioxide and methane. Hence, the dual-ligand strategy optimized the pore environment and provided an effective approach for pure separation of gases. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
