Abstract
- Dr. Irit Felsen, a clinical psychologist and daughter of two Holocaust survivors, will be giving a talk at Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains about the psychological effects of the Holocaust on survivors and their families. The discussion will focus on intergenerational transmission of unique vulnerabilities and resilience to descendants. The event is organized by the Second/Third Generation Holocaust Survivors Group, which serves as a support group and organizes educational events about the Holocaust.
