Abstract

This document provides summaries of three different court cases. The first case involves a defendant named Pepe who appealed his convictions on the grounds of insufficient evidence and incorrect jury instructions. The second case involves a defendant named Jackson who appealed his convictions for sex trafficking a minor, arguing that his statements to the police should have been suppressed and that the jury should have been given a limiting instruction regarding threatening voicemails. The third case involves a defendant named Johnson who sued a woman named Freborg for defamation after she made posts on Facebook accusing him of sexual assault. The court determined that Freborg's posts involved a matter of public concern and remanded the case to determine the truth or falsity of her statements. [Extracted from the article]
