Abstract
- In the age of Generative Artificial Intelligence, where students can generate longform writing pieces within seconds, how do we rethink the process and value of literary analysis? This article details a project from a required first-year undergraduate literature course that used zines to teach literary analysis. This article includes all components of the project, including discussion prompts, scaffolded assignments, and several reflections from students on how this project changed their understanding of and relationship to literary analysis.
