Abstract
- A new study conducted at the Centre de Recherche Entomologique de Cotonou examined the effectiveness of different insecticides in reducing malaria transmission. The study found that clothianidin-based insecticides had a lower impact on reducing malaria transmission compared to pirimiphos-methyl. The research used various methods to collect and analyze data on mosquito populations and malaria transmission rates. The study suggests that the choice of vector control tools is crucial in achieving the goal of eliminating malaria. [Extracted from the article]
